How To Use Occlusion Cuff PRO

About Occlusion Cuff training

Occlusion Cuff is designed for adult fitness and wellness training with lighter resistance loads.

When inflated, the cuffs apply adjustable pressure around the limb to create a challenging training stimulus. Follow the product instructions and the guidance in the Occlusion Cuff app. Stop immediately and release the pressure if you feel pain, numbness, pins and needles, uncomfortable tingling, severe discomfort or dizziness.

Training advice

  • Use the cuffs only during resistance or aerobic exercise. Do not use them in water.
  • Use light training loads and controlled movements.
  • Follow the pressure, duration, rest and session guidance provided in the Occlusion Cuff app and product instructions.
  • Do not exceed the recommended pressure or session duration.

Instructions

  1. Deflate the cuff: turn the pump valve counterclockwise to fully deflate it.
  2. Wrap the cuff: place it as high as practical on the limb and wrap it evenly and snugly.
  3. Attach the tubing: connect the tubing from the gauge to the cuffs.
  4. Check the nozzle: close the nozzle on the gauge by turning it clockwise. Do not overtighten.
  5. Inflate the cuffs: use the calibration and pressure guidance supplied with your product or in the Occlusion Cuff app.
  6. Match your training position: inflate the cuff while in the position in which you intend to exercise.
  7. Disconnect before exercise: disconnect the tubing and gauge before beginning the exercise.
  8. Release pressure: reconnect the tubing if required and turn the nozzle counterclockwise.

Important

  • Never exercise with the gauge attached to the cuff.
  • Check the cuff and connections before every use. Do not use damaged equipment.
  • Release the pressure between sessions as directed in the app or product instructions.
  • Never sleep, drive or operate machinery while wearing inflated cuffs.
  • Stop and fully deflate the cuffs if you experience pain, numbness, pins and needles, uncomfortable tingling, severe discomfort, dizziness, unusual colour change or any other concerning symptom.
